Privacy Policy
Last updated 26 September 2026. This notice explains how Dean Seville, trading as Mobile Smart Repairs Manchester, handles personal information when you visit this website, request a quote, send photographs, arrange a mobile repair or contact us.
Contact
For a privacy enquiry, call 07999 909 404 or use our contact form and state that it concerns privacy. We are the controller of the customer information used to provide our repair service.
Information we collect
We may receive your name, contact details, postcode or repair location, vehicle details and registration, photographs of damage, quote and booking information, messages, invoices and warranty records. Website and form services may also process IP address, device, browser, referral and page usage information. Please avoid including people or unrelated private details in vehicle photographs.
Why we use it
We use this information to answer enquiries and prepare quotes (steps at your request before a contract), arrange and perform repairs (contract), take payment and keep tax records (contract and legal obligation), address complaints and warranty issues (contract and legitimate interests), and protect our website and business from misuse (legitimate interests). We use optional analytics or marketing technologies only where the applicable consent rules permit. You can withdraw consent or object to direct marketing.
Sharing and payment providers
We share information only where needed with our technicians, website hosting and form or customer management providers, communications services, payment processors, accountants and professional advisers, and public authorities when legally required. The embedded quote form is supplied through LeadConnector or HighLevel. If you choose PayPal or Klarna, that provider handles its payment or credit decision under its own privacy notice and terms. We do not normally retain full card details and we do not sell personal information.
International processing and security
Some form, hosting, communication or analytics providers may process data outside the UK. Where a restricted transfer occurs, we use an applicable UK transfer safeguard or adequacy mechanism. We use appropriate organisational and technical measures to protect information, although no internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
How long we keep information
We keep unsuccessful quote enquiries and photographs for up to 24 months after last contact, unless needed for a dispute. Customer repair, invoice and payment records are generally held for up to six years after the relevant financial year. Warranty and complaint records may be kept for the relevant period and a reasonable time afterwards. We review information and delete it when no longer needed, subject to legal obligations and claims.
Cookies
Essential cookies may be used for the website and forms. Analytics, advertising or embedded third-party services may set additional cookies if enabled. Your browser can block cookies, though some features may not work. We will review the site’s active cookies and present any required choice before non-essential cookies are used.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your information; object to some uses; or withdraw consent where consent is the basis. These rights are subject to legal conditions. Contact us through the route above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Updates
We may update this notice when our service, suppliers or legal requirements change. The revision date at the top will show the latest version.
